The weather will change in many districts of Gujarat, with Biparjoy cyclonic storm expected to hit the state. A warning signal number 01 has been posted at Ghogha port regarding this storm. Fishermen have also been advised not to venture into the sea. Along with this, a heavy current was observed along the coast of Alang which caused waves of up to 7 feet.

Warning of rain with strong winds in the districts
Rain warning has been issued in many districts of Gujarat along with heavy winds. According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is forming in the Arabian Sea. Due to which it will turn into a cyclone in the next two days. Apart from Gujarat, the effect of this cyclonic storm will also be seen in many districts of Maharashtra. In which a depression has formed over the South East Arabian Sea today which is likely to intensify as it moves northwards during the next 24 hours.

40 km/h winds forecast for two days
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal areas of Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has predicted winds of 40 kilometers per hour for the next two days. The Meteorological Department said that till June 7, Cyclone Byparjoy will bring rain with heavy thunderstorms. With wind speed of 50 kmph, the state administration has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea. Officials at the local level have also been asked to be vigilant.
