Dirt due to maintenance in Mundra ST bus depot, all fans in the complex are off

In Mundra, considered the Paris of West Kutch, lack of facilities at the bus stand is causing havoc for ST passengers. Most of the fans in the bus depot complex are off and the remaining fans have been taken down by someone, due to which the commuters waiting for the bus are finding it difficult to sit in the scorching heat. Talking about cleanliness, not a single sign of cleanliness is seen here. People claim that old toilets are still functioning in the new bus stand complex. Where there is always mercury dirt. Garbage is also seen flying everywhere in the complex area. People are demanding that proper facilities should be made in Mundra bus station which has an international port.

About this, Mundra social worker Hakumatsinh Jadeja said that there is a permanent lack of fans and cleanliness in the ST bus stand. It becomes unbearable for people to use the old toilets here. The toilet and the smelly environment make the environment very bad. So the infestation of flies and mosquitoes due to dirt also causes pain to people. Garbage is also piled up around the ST depot office. Of course, the local people demand that the complex should be cleaned and sanitized by the ST system.

Meanwhile, this type of situation has also been found in East Kutch’s Bhachau bus stand. Here also the fans installed in the ST bus stand have disappeared. Small and large vehicles move in and out of the complex seamlessly and park at their convenience. Some time ago, there was a demand for police deployment due to complaints of rome-giri, but the implementation could not be done. Local people allege that private encroachment has taken place around and up to the bus stand but no action is being taken.
