Grievance redressal program “Swagat” under Chief Minister’s online-offline public relations program started on It was done on April 24, 2003 by the then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. On the occasion of the completion of 20 years of this program, public welfare programs are being held across the state to address the issues of the people.
“Welcome Week” is currently being celebrated in Narmada district. The district administration is responsible for solving the problems of the public under the welcome program of village level to district level. As part of public awareness celebration of “Welcome Week”, today A taluka level welcome program was held in all the five talukas of Narmada district on Tuesday, 25th April in the presence of senior district officers and applicants. A total of 47 questions were positively resolved in the welcome program held at Garudeshwar Taluka headquarters under the chairmanship of District Collector Shweta Tevatia.
It is not only to consider the citizens’ submissions, but also to go ahead and do result-oriented work by establishing a two-way dialogue between the administrative system and the citizens and fulfilling the expectations of the people. People’s problems in Narmada district like water, roads, housing, government assistance schemes, infrastructure, land survey, ration card, widow relief, income pattern are naturally there. These issues are usually resolved at the local level. But in some cases decisions cannot be taken at the local level due to lack of coordination of policy decisions and involvement of more than one department. Such types of questions are presented in Swagat online program.
As per the sensitive approach of the State Government, citizens can take maximum part in the “Welcome Program” and feel aware of the people-oriented administration of the Government as part of the celebration of Welcome Week with a taluka level welcome program today Tuesday at Mamlatdar office under the chairmanship of District Development Officer Ankit Pannu at Dediapada Taluka headquarters. 64 questions raised in the reception program held were positively disposed of. Tilakwada Taluka welcome program was held at Mamlatdar office under the chairmanship of Resident Additional Collector CA Gandhi. A total of 151 questions were answered positively.
Director of District Village Development Agency in Nandod Taluka J.K. 124 questions raised in the Taluka Swagat program presided over by Jadav were positively disposed of on the spot. While in Sagabara taluka under the chairmanship of Deputy Superintendent of Police Vani Dudhat of Ektanagar, 149 queries of the citizens were resolved positively and their problems were solved. Thus, a total of 535 questions were presented in the reception program held at the five taluka levels of the entire Narmada district. In the presence of the officials, the local enforcement officer disposed positively on the spot and issued hukam letters to the citizens. District level welcome program will be held on 27th April next. In which the remaining issues will be resolved.
