Gujarat University Chancellor Himanshu Pandya’s term is due to end in June, the final syndicate meeting will be held tomorrow in the presence of the Chancellor. In this meeting, many issues including stalled recruitment process, new year admission process, and approval of new colleges will be discussed.

A syndicate meeting has been called at Gujarat University tomorrow. Syndicate members, the Chancellor, and the Registrar of Gujarat University will be present at this meeting. Chancellor Himanshu Pandya will attend the final syndicate meeting, after which his term will end in June. In this meeting, the new year admission process will be discussed and issues including affiliation to new colleges in nine years will also be discussed.
The stalled recruitment of the university will be discussed
Apart from this, before the Assembly elections, an advertisement was made to fill the vacant post at Gujarat University in the month of October. Recruitment for 120 vacancies has been stalled for 7 months. By November 3, candidates had filled out the forms, but the recruitment was not done. So this issue will also be discussed in tomorrow’s meeting.
